I am a Balanced Body® Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor who brings both knowledge and heart to my work. I am deeply committed to helping people understand their bodies, move with confidence, and feel supported throughout the process. My teaching is rooted in biomechanics and modern movement science, strengthened by 20 years of experience working in a chiropractic and rehabilitation setting, but what clients feel most is my care, attentiveness, and genuine desire to see them succeed.

I work with a wide variety of clients, from those recovering from injury or managing pain to individuals who simply want to move better, feel stronger, and stay active in their everyday lives. I also work closely with young athletes, helping them build strength, coordination, mobility, and body awareness that not only supports performance but helps protect their bodies for the long term.

With comprehensive training across mat, reformer, tower, chair, barrel, and trapeze, I thoughtfully adapt each session to the person in front of me. Whether someone’s goal is rehabilitation, improved posture, athletic development, or lasting strength, I meet them where they are. My teaching emphasizes alignment, breath, efficiency, and steady, intelligent progress so clients feel challenged but always supported.

I am continuing my education through the Balanced Body® Advanced Movement Principles program, with completion expected in 2026. This advanced training further strengthens my ability to understand how the body functions as a whole, allowing me to bridge corrective exercise, performance training, and sustainable lifelong movement.

At The Met, I work as part of an integrated musculoskeletal care team alongside chiropractic and physical therapy providers. My approach helps clients across the full spectrum of movement needs, from recovery and pain management to performance and daily wellness. My goal is simple: to help people move with more ease, awareness, and confidence both in the studio and in their everyday lives.

I am originally from Finksburg, Maryland, and bring over two decades of experience in thoughtful, movement-centered musculoskeletal care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University’s College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating in 2002 as valedictorian of my class and receiving the Award of Excellence from the Department of Radiology. I completed my pre-medical studies at Towson University prior to my chiropractic education.

After returning to Maryland, I have practiced as a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges, serving patients through an integrated model that values quality of movement as the foundation of long-term health. I am an active member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association and serve as a board member of the Maryland State Board of Chiropractic Examiners within the Maryland Department of Health.

At The Met, my approach bridges clinical care and movement education. My work integrates precise manual therapy with Pilates-based principles of alignment, control, breath, and efficient movement. I am certified in Diversified, Flexion-Distraction, Thompson Technique, Logan Basic Technique, and Activator adjusting techniques, and I hold advanced certifications in Graston Technique and Dry Needling. I am trained in  Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), and musculoskeletal exercise rehabilitation.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I can advise the Pilates and rehabilitation team to help clients build strength, stability, and confidence in their bodies. My goal is to support clients in moving with greater ease, awareness, and resilience both inside the studio and in everyday life.
